I started drawing from lithographs in my mother's bible, Michelangelo, Remebrandt, Etc. Private tutored in Oils with Dr. Schiker at SFA Unversity while in High School and won awards at an early age. My artistic talent was natural. I learned pastel portraits as a Street Artist on Jackson Square, with Artist Frank J. Frederico and had Workshops in Oils, Pastels, and Life Drawings in New Orleans. In Texas, taught Art at Recreation Centers. Later in Houston, I studied with Prof. Richard Stout, in composition and design, oils and acrylics. My path led to meditation developing body-mind coordination improving my skills. While in Rome, I was in Meditation Teacher Training when I study with Dr. Varma, who did the paintings of Mararishi. After an inspiring view of the Sistine Chapel and workshops i took in Italy in Miniture Paintings and Oils, I returned home teahing meditation in Texas, and then Laguna, Ca. I started drawing, painting and teaching art again. During classes in Life Drawing and Painting at Long Beach City College, I apprenticed under Fred Rash, of Newport Beach, and Louise Rash, of Laguna Beach. I won several awards in Orange County shows and Renaissance Fairs, now many years ago. I worked at Knott's Berry Farms Portrait Studio, after which I had a art gallery in Cannery Village area of Newport Beach, Ca. where I did paintings and portraits for private collections. Some time was spent on quick sketch Portraits of Angels at Fairs through out California and Arizona. I had a studio and meditation center in Montclair, Ca for ten years where I painted and taught Art/Meditation. Recently I took Jerry Yarnell's workshop in Arcrylics Landscapes. I now reside in Rancho Cucamonga, Ca. painting and sculpting out of my private studio.
